AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi Guys,

Hope you are well. I was wondering if you could recommend a follow on tutorial from the getting started tutorial. I found this link really useful as a beginner.. http://www.accurender.com/page/getting-started
and would now like to try more advanced tasks. Preferably with a model, materials a final image to aim to reproduce and a few instruction to get me underway. Many thanks in advance…

Nothing official yet.  The webinar video is a good one for architectural exteriors if you haven't seen it (or didn't attend.)  No model/materials for this one (at least not yet.)
Thanks Roy, I watched it a couple of times and it is very good for architectural exteriors. If I could request that a future webinar may address interiors that would be great. I am also interested in the use of HDRI's and only have a vague understanding of what they are and even less as to how to go about using them. Thanks Sean

There is an hdri article here.  Just try something and ask questions.  HDRIs can sometimes work well for exteriors-- they're great for product design and studio lighting.

We are in the planning stages of a second webinar and a third has been tentatively scheduled for July. The current topics under consideration are (1) updating from legacy accurenders and (2) architectural interiors.  More advanced topics will be covered after these if these go OK.

"For compatibility with AutoCAD 2026 you would need to purchase a license upgrade for nXtRender (AccuRender).  As an AR5 license holder you are eligible for a discount which we can give to you if you contact us at support@renderplus.com."

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
