AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hello Roy,

This is just a request,

But, is it possible to make the AccuRender nXt palettes (Lighting, Materials, Render Settings, Object Properties) look like any other autocad Tool Palettes?

The goal is to make them more accessible.

Thank you

Hello Roy,

Any follow up on the possiblities of this request? To make it a little clearer, I have a wide-screen monitor and the accordion menue makes it a little time consuming to open up the options, would it be possible to instead of using the current accordion menue to use a tabed menue like the auto cad tool palettes.

Or is this request out of the question in the case that your design of the menue is complete?

Thank you.

It's certainly not going to happen any time soon.  I did note your request-- I often don't comment on feature requests.

Roy - this post made me wonder what it would take to write some manner of scripts or macros or such to make AR5 nXt do some tasks and then have those as a User defined tab or icon bar.

An example would be the work-around technique I described a few weeks ago for saving material assignment states as "blank" dwgs thus allowing a User to save, load and superimpose material settings on an existing model - a feature lost after AR4.

So, the question is more how problematic is it to "add a tab" for User applications specific to AR5 functionality?

It would give CoMotion icons and its info a place to reside as well as any marcos I or others would be willing to script.

Just an idea...

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More

3D_Replication final

I created this replication of one of Peter Milner's renders, not with AI but with sketchup (with the matchnewphoto tool), autocad and nxtrender.Critics and comments are welcome.
