Roy, how about the preview that bombs out after a few frames. It is good to see before you hit the render, what you about to render.

Are the buttons enabled or are they grayed out?

I am in the Animation window of the WalkAbout. Selected the Camera Path, but have the Preview, Render, Farm, buttons grayed out. How do I activate them?

Any valid path combination should activate the buttons. It may not have picked up on your selection. If you pick a spline path for example-- you should see the word spline next to the button and the other buttons should activate.
