Is the error consistent?  Does it happen every time you open this drawing?

Yes, I have this error every time, but only with this drawing. I work with Build 280th Can it be that the drawing is too big? Size 180 MB!

I don't think so.  Not if it crashes when you type nXt.  32 or 64 bit?

Open this file is only for Win 64 bit. Yes, this happens when I type AR5, but why?

Alfons

No idea.  Simplify the drawing as much as possible, then upload it.  Make sure the simplified one still crashes.  I'll take a look.

I have tested this file now times on computers of colleagues with Acad 2010 and lo and behold, it comes at the same drawing, no error message.
Could it be the Acad 2011 has problems with ARX applications? Can someone from the forum to test both the Acad Acad 2010 and 2011, Win 7 has 64?
The 180 MB file for legal reasons I can not upload here unfortunately.

Alfons Akamp

It's tested and verified constantly on all of these platforms.  There are currently no known problems specific to Acad 2011.

I found the error that is responsible for these messages. In my computer memory chips are defective from the memory and therefore could not properly save Acad.
Computer is currently in repair at my local dealer.

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
