Copy all the files in a new folder, and it works. If you want, delete the old folder and rename the new folder with the name of the old folder deleted . Another way to repare, if you can see the "thumbs.db" file in your folder, is to delete this file, and windows will put another, and all will work.
I think it's working fine-- see below when used in a scene with night level illumination. It's a very strange thing to do-- using a mid-day photo and calibrating it for night time. Use a night photo for better results.
If you try to use an hdr calibrated for night in a scene with daylight it will look black-- the luminance in the map will not be able to compete with the daylighting. If you try to use an hdr calibrated for daylighting in a scene lit for nighttime it will look too bright and may make the scene go dark.
