Good job Roy ...
What happened to build 233 or did I miss something?
Great!
Thumbnails of plants, groundcover and materials not showing in Explorer. Win 7, 32bit OS.
Copy all the files in a new folder, and it works. If you want, delete the old folder and rename the new folder with the name of the old folder deleted . Another way to repare, if you can see the "thumbs.db" file in your folder, is to delete this file, and windows will put another, and all will work.
Thanks all of a sudden without doing anything they are all viewing plants, groundcover, materials and all
Using the new widget, night present always produce black HDRi's

I think it's working fine-- see below when used in a scene with night level illumination. It's a very strange thing to do-- using a mid-day photo and calibrating it for night time. Use a night photo for better results.

In other words use the converted night hdri for a night scene and it will light up like Xmas as am seeing you do now.
I have no idea what you mean.

If you try to use an hdr calibrated for night in a scene with daylight it will look black-- the luminance in the map will not be able to compete with the daylighting. If you try to use an hdr calibrated for daylighting in a scene lit for nighttime it will look too bright and may make the scene go dark.

For example, if I use your bg on the night scene above I get this:

If I use the day map in a daylit scene I get this (I did reposition the map a little):
