AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi guys I downloaded the Archivision Dashboard and the plugin for Autocad 2008 32 bits,  when I introduce a new RPC (that I downloaded to  try from archivison site) Before I render  I got this message /attached) when I try to render I got this image (attached). Even If I try to use some of my old RPC that I bought some years ago the problem is  the same. I already check the physical units in Autocad   that are in meters and everything seems to be OK. Thank in advance.

First I tried in a complex  model, the I restart my computer and tried with a clean drawing, always teh same.

Thanks in advance.

Use of RPCs now requires a plugin written by ArchVision. The link above takes you to their website, where you can download the plugin. You'll need to download the specific plugin for the version of AutoCAD or ACA which you have.

More information on using RPC with nXt is available here.
Oh, understand, thanks Roy!
Well, I´m testing the evaluation version of NXT, and recently download the RPC plug in for Acad 2008.
A warning advice about phisical scale of RPC models, appears when I try to render the scene, but the render is OK, including the RPCs.

Here is a test that I made today.

Thanks

The warning is because the RPCs lighting units do not match your scene units. Try typing this command:

LIGHTINGUNITS

Then enter a value of 0 or 1. That should eliminate this message.
Ok, I see, I will try it!

Thanks

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
