AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Fixed a problem where using the caustics switch with the Path Tracer causes an intermittent crash.

Engine 4--

Reflective caustics are now not calculated automatically.  This removes a major source of noise for the engine and should result in much faster convergence, particularly for exterior scenes with metal railings, etc..  Refractive caustics, such as swimming pools, are still calculated automatically.  If you need the effect of reflective caustics for light shelves, etc.., the switch to activate them is in the Material Editor, on the bottom of the first page.  All other caustic switches are ignored by this engine.

Fixed  a problem with the silhouette edges of objects and background.

Example with and without the Reflective Caustics switch (it's off by default.)

HI Roy I am trying to open the image editor and I got this message (see attached)  I already downloaded again and reinstall and still same message. I am goig to reinstall 305 to see if the problem is with version 306

I reinstall 305 and it works, the problem is with verison 306

32 or 64 bit?

64 bit

I'm not getting this here-- is it possible the Editor was running when you did the original install?

I've got another crash bug I'm working on-- so 307 will be out in a hour or two.  If you have time, try that one and see if the problem goes away.

"For compatibility with AutoCAD 2026 you would need to purchase a license upgrade for nXtRender (AccuRender).  As an AR5 license holder you are eligible for a discount which we can give to you if you contact us at support@renderplus.com."
