AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi Roy, I  am receiving a fatal error each time I tried to render a particular model. I was rendering  a view everything was OK, I change the view, tried to render  and I received the fatal error advise. I restart windows open the drawing, tried to render the view  again same  results. I shut down my system again, open autocad open the drawing using recover (no errors), copy all the objects to a new drawing, tried to render, always the fatal error.  I tried to render the original view when everything was ok, same fatal error.   I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits, autocad 2011 and NXt 237.  Do you need the model?

I remove some recently inserted objects and it seems to work. I will triyy again and see what happen.
Yep-- set it up and give me instructions on how to reproduce. Use the Upload link under support.
Hi Roy. Do you find something? I find that the problem is with the wine glass or the wine bottles that are in the shelves. But if I freeze all the layers and render only glass and bottles they work., but when I thaw all the layer the fatal error appears. Hope this help to find out what is going on here.
Yes, I found it. I'll update soon, maybe tonight if I have a chance.

It's a bug in the caustics code. As a workaround, if you uncheck Caustics for all of the items in question it should run fine. Keep a copy of the crashing version to verify that it's actually fixed.

BTW-- using caustics on a drawing like this is probably not worth the extra calulation time.
Thanks Roy

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
