Thanks got it, are all these feature, HDRi Positioning, Material Colour and and Background Wizard also available with the Revit version as all the video are of the SketchUp interface.

The "HDRi Positioning" Video Page is missing

Sorry, I will fix the link.

The Video is here:

http://www.renderplus.com/wp2/wk/HDRi_Positioning_Video.php

We will be making new vidoes for the features in all products as soon as we add them to SketchUp.

These features should be working with both SketchUp and Revit now.

Did you get the licensing stuff when you just typed nXt-- or did you have to do something else? (i.e. did you select the License... option in the menu.)  Is this a machine with a valid nXt license already?

Typing, 'nxt' only launched the interface as it is meant to be. Clicking, 'check license and validate' pops up the error.

Since I do not get the nag screen on starting up nxt, only means my license key is still valid as far as nxt is concern.

What I wanted you to verify is that Build 320 works the same as before-- which I think you did-- but I'm not sure yet-- so I need you to answer as specifically as possible (I don't care about the other licensing stuff at all yet.)  What I'm trying to verify is if the product will continue to function for people in exactly the same way using their existing McNeel licenses.

Please answer exactly-- and don't answer anything else:

How did you get the RPS License Dialog Box in the first place (the one with the Check License and Validate Button)?   Here are some possible responses:

1. It came up on its own when I typed nXt

2.  I went to the pulldown and selected License...

2. I went to the pulldown and selected License..

3. Then click on Check License and Validate Button.

It never came up on its own when I nxt, and this build/spin works perfectly well as before no issues, with rendering.

Great-- that's what I needed to know.

Some users have been experiencing problems-- but I'm pretty sure these are related to either installing on a machine which never had a McNeel Product Key, or selecting the License... option and not understanding what it means.  You did discover a crash in the RPS License code, BTW, a separate issue which Al will need to look into.

As I said earlier this is on the 32-bit AutoCad 2007 on my 64-bit laptop. Yet to try it on 64-bit AutoCad 2012 or 2013 also on the same laptop.

Try it when you get a chance.  All I'm interested in knowing is does the thing operate normally when you type nXt? I would not push the License... button if I were you-- unless someone like Al requests it--  there isn't any reason to (yet).

Still has 21 days of trial mode left, so will wait it out and see if anything happen, and keep you all informed.

Now I'm totally confused again.

When you type nXt do you get a dialog box saying that you have 21 days left?

If you don't, and you only see that message when the License... option is selected, nothing will happen when the trial expires.  It will continue to operate as before, using the McNeel license.

Sorry, the count down is part of the information on the dialog box of the License pulldown.

"For compatibility with AutoCAD 2026 you would need to purchase a license upgrade for nXtRender (AccuRender).  As an AR5 license holder you are eligible for a discount which we can give to you if you contact us at support@renderplus.com."

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
