AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

  • I have three version of AutoCad on the same PC (64 bit) . 2007 (32 bit) and 2012 and 2013 (64 bit).
  • Suddenly when I select an object and right click the context menu no longer contain Properties.
  • Select an object and then Ctrl + M on the keyboard no longer displays the Properties Dialog box.
  • Meanwhile in the 32 bit version 2007 all works well.
  • Anyway to correct this? Thanks in advance.

If stuff is broken across multiple versions of AutoCAD your best bet is to reboot (if you haven't already.)  Logging off/on might help do it also.

This happened three days ago. Rebooting and relogging have not helped.

I guess it's possible something set the registry items across different platforms-- usually this is a plug-in installation of some sort.

Check the following system vars:

SHORTCUTMENU (should be 11, by default)

PICKFIRST (should be 1)

You the G, Roy, back to business, thanks.

Just check  toola, optiona, selection mode. I guess

Here is another one. properties in AUtoCad 2014 no longer displays properties on the selected object, while AutoCad 2012 on the same system still does.

This make adjusting/setting  material/object properties in AutoCad 2014 impossible.

Autodesk user group forum made me understand the uninstalling 360 that comes with AutoCad 2014 causes this, so far reinstalling seem to be the only way out. Going the route soon.

Reinstalled and all is back to normal.
