AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Well, this is the frist image i upload using nxt, but not the very first one i did.

I would like to go deeper in the renderer, but i'm to insecure about the work.

I used path trace ando change some settings. Hdri on the sky, cloudness and sun at 0.5.

And after 8 hrs and only 52 passes, this is the result.

Quite a link.

muito bom! Já sei como passar o tempo agora!

nXtStudio only opens obj, rhinoceros and sketchup files. All my drawing is autocad files. Should I convert the file?

Open your drawing in AutoCAD and load nXt.  Type (nxtwrite) at the command line-- included the parentheses.  You'll be prompted to save an .nXtScene file which is nXtStudio's native format.  This can be loaded directly.

Thanks, again, Roy.

Well, i've tried the Roy's hint about caustic/hybrid on another work, and i realized that the caustic effect appears  only in the deepest part of the pool. It's the same material all over the pool's surface.

Which engine?

An impressive design I must say!

It's hybrid, Roy.

Thank you, Akinlolu.

Not sure what's up then.  The caustics using this engine have been very robust.  You can send the model, or a simplified version, if you like and I can take a look.  There's an upload link under Support for larger models or models you don't want to share publically.

I analyzed the model further, and you know what? Neither material nor objects are marked with caustics. Is the Hybrid just acting from the transparency? I'll send the file soon.
