Furniture with button holes and creases from holes, would think need to find/create model.

I would search Google Sketch-up 3d model websites.

How to construct.

Thanks, I have watched a bunch of videos for sketch up and 3d max. Unfortunately most of it can not be translated into autocad. Have you seen any tutorials for tufting in cad... I am still on the hunt

Sorry I use sketch all the time to do modeling that is not Autocad friendly  and then import to Cad.

Straight export, quick clean up of layers and add materials and it's all good.

You need a full sketch version.................by the way.

Easy enough to create in AutoCAD.

This took about 2 minutes.

Peter you have made your bed now lay in it. lol

Very good, go Autocad.................

How did you do this?

I think very easy. 4 arcs -> Surfaces -> Network -> ready. Adjust SurfU and SurfV variable and voila...

Or is it Surftab1 and Surftab2 (really don't remember, it's a long time since...) ? Anyhow, lot easier is adjustment of segments in Object Properties panel. :)

Yes, similar to that except I used loft which means you can vary the curvature towards the centre of the "dome".

"Found 'Textured Mesh Support' only works with obj and 3ds Files which do not contain PBR Maps. To 'obj' converted newer 3ds do not render in nXt :-("
