AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

For those of you have been wondering if I fell off the face of the planet... Well, I'm still here. The last 2 years I have been working on getting my Architectural License (which I did last November). Then I was going to ramp up coMotion and start releasing builds. I started off on schedule with build 013 around Christmas.

But the at the first of the year I was diagnosed with Lymphoma and have been going through Chemotherapy. I just completed my last session last week and begin radiation next month. Signs are I'm in remission and hopefully I can get my head around programming again. It is amazing how time flies, I couldn't believe it is already June.

This is a great community and I always feel privileged to be a part of of it. Catch everyone on the flip side... Cheers!

I pieced that together from you facebook posts. Im not  a religious type of guy, but have been thinking good thoughts for you. Stay well brother.
Plus, I think I like the bald look over the shoulder length hair.  :)
If you think so... I uploaded a new picture.
I think that Bruce Willis career is finished ;o)
More of a Telly Savalas look.
Be well Daniel. I'm really glad you're back strong.
Great to know you're back and wish you all the best.  I've always enjoyed your insight.

Hair is overrated, Daniel.  I'm living proof that bald can be beautiful.  In your case, it comes back.  In my case.................  Oh well.  Great to see your mug show up again.  You left a void in the discussion group.  Hope to see (hear) from you often.

Yes, hair is overrated... well that's my story for now. We'll see what I say in a couple of months ;)

"Found 'Textured Mesh Support' only works with obj and 3ds Files which do not contain PBR Maps. To 'obj' converted newer 3ds do not render in nXt :-("

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"

"Sorry, do not exactly how to do it right. If i sent you one or  sets, could you "compose" one material as an example? Maybe this is interesting for others too.."
