Thanks Roy. I'll give it a test here.

Hi Roy, I just want to know if this version is faster than the previous one   in path tracer.  The main thing is that  I clean the dust from my machine beacause I have a termal event, at the same time I downloaded and instaled the new version and renders are going faster.  Just to know If have to do with dust or with ar. or both of them?

It is generally good to keep machine clean without dust Alejandro. Especially on the CPU and VGA cooler heat sinks and fans and of course if there is any cooling system on mo-bo. Lower temperatures = longer components life and less noise as fans are spinning slower.

I doubt if I did anything to make it faster-- I also doubt if cleaning your machine made a difference.  Not sure what's up.  Let me know if there's any significant difference in the output.

Everything seems to render ok, but II get an ACAD crash when I try to save my rendering.

32 bit or 64 bit?

64 bit in XP64 with ACAD2010.  Autosave at pass# and save current render before proceeding are both working ok; it's just the manual save button in the render window.

Also wondering how long it'll be before somebody has to come up with a new icon image for a save button because an entire generation of users has never seen a diskette...

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"

"nXtRender doesn't use the AO texture image settings for anything, so don't bother trying to use that. I would start use the Diffuse textures at 100% and experiment with the levels of the Specular Reflection. You might need to toggle the…"
