advanced rendering for AutoCAD
I have a Pavilion DV6 notebook that hibernates on it's own while am working. On rebooting it gives me a pre-boosting message of, "System Bios detected that your notebook was put into hibernate to prevent damage from overheating." This just started recently and not I newly brought the laptop. The funny thing is that it happens when am not even doing a processor intensive work(just typing or working on an AutoCad drawing), like rendering( which I do often on it as an Architect) Any pointers to what is wrong or how it can be corrected?

Be careful to backup anything you have on this thing-- it's very likely going to break soon. The HP pavilion series are well known for some heat issues, some involving the on-board graphics.
Thanks, will get a new hard disk tomorrow and start backing up. Also that means a new laptop. Which will you recommend, that will not break bank.
II would first backup all the custom stuff to another disk. Then I would look into the laptop trying to clean any dust from heat sinks and cooling fans inside the machine. My wife's older laptop (Acer), after several months after the buy, fans started to work in full speed every time the laptop was switched on, without even doing anything with it. After the disassembling it I found heat sinks full of cotton-like dust obviously working as thermal insulation! After cleaning all the mess laptop returned to silence :D Maybe that could be not your issue though.
Thanks someone suggested such, will see the laptop technician tomorrow too.
i don't think a laptop is the ideal instrument for processor intensive work like accurender. I nice fat workstation will do the job. The money you saved by buying accurender is worth spending on this ;-)
I will repent, just that I have to work at home, on site and in the office, and I know no desktop, small or mobile enough for the job.
George's suggestions are good. Ask your technician about a laptop cooling pad-- they're usually pretty inexpensive. Definitely continue to back up the machine. Like I said-- these HPs have some known problems-- I've got a busted one here that I repaired once.
Akin: permiteme sugerirte este equipo, he estado investigando y segun parece es uno de los 5 mejores en desempeño. Saludos.

Thank you very much. Check them out, the prices I must say according to my standards right now are breath taking.
Jan is absolutely right. You will never get the same brake horsepower from a laptop spending even double the money as with workstation. Synchronization software will be then your good friend (can recommend some I use).
Which ones (I mean the synchronization software)
I use SecondCopy and never had problems. It also synchronizes opened files without interrumptions.
