i apply a omni lt to a long rectangle object in autocad but it render out non uniformly as shown.

can advise how to create a more uniform lt distribution ?

check your units or skip to the path tracer is my best guess

Jan is right, most likely your units are incorrect.  Use the _ddunits command to check the insertion units against the actual drawing units.  These should be fixed even if you elect to use the path tracer.
