AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

My boss is on the fence as to whether or not we should purchase nXt.  We are a manufacturing company and we need to generate a ton of images of our products.  He's waiting for me to produce an image that convinces him that nXt is the way to go.  I personally have been using CAD, modeling in 3D and rendering for the past 25 years.  That being said I was hoping to see if someone might want to take up the challenge of producing an image for me that would knock my bosses socks off.  With all of the other responsibilities I have in the office I just don't have the time to adjust lighting... render... adjust reflections... render... adjust lighting.... render... adjust reflections... render... adjust material... render... so on and so on.

Anyone up for the challenge?  I was just hoping that someone might have a typical environment with great lighting that they could drop a model into and produce something rather quickly.  The model only has three or four materials.  I'll attach the appropriate files if anyone shows interest.

I know it's probably asking a lot but I figure it never hurts to ask.

Regards,

Alex

That would be spectacular.  I'm not sure I'd be able to thank you enough.
could you post it here, for all of us,please?
On the topic of the "tile" technique... It's ingenious.  Any technique that means less post production time is a winner in my book.  Typical I'd rely on photoshop to create something similar. Talk about saving time. I'm going to definately add it to my bag of tricks.  Thank you for sharing Chas!
Alex....donde subiste el archivo? cual es el nombre?
Amigos, relamente soy un principiante junto a ustedes!!! es un gusto poder tener informacion de primera mano de gente como ustedes. Saludos
Im just only add some walls and roof lights (like interior)

I want to thank everyone for taking the time to illustrate what nXt can do with this particular application.  I'm going to attempt to offer my own rendition based on the examples that have been illustrated.  I'm confident that I'll be able to convince the boss to move forward with the purchase.

Again, I want to thank everyone for all of your help.  Throughout my long career I haven't really had too many peers in this field that I could communicate easily with.  It's nice to know that there's a community of like minded and knowledgeable professionals who are openly willing to lend a helpful hand.  I look forward to being able to do the same.

Regards,

Alex

Here's my version.
Would be wonder if all submissions would include the drawing file with assigned materials to help others like me who in the future might just have to do product rendering and the lighting setup too for similar interiors.

I'll repost the model from my home office later today.

What I like about the tile technique I used is the fact that it gives the cabinetry a spatial set without distracting from the cabinetry details. Great for web or printed presentations.

Alexinfla,

I left a message on your page.
