AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I use the scroll wheel on my mouse alot in autocad to zoom in and out and atmies to scroll up and down a list in standard windows programs.

Problem is after some time the scrolling become eratic. What could be the cause and also solution to the problem.

Hello Akinlolu,

The reason is probably dust which has accumulated below the scroll wheel over time.

You can unscrew the mouse remove the wheel and clean it with alcohol or something similar.

Of course getting a new mouse is another option. :P

Will give the cleaning a shot. It being long since I did this typs of cleaning in the days of track ball mouse, the ball was always clean, it the rollers that picks up the dirt from the ball.

A new mouse soon goes to this state of eraticness after a few weeks.

thanks for the tip

Have you installed the proper mouse software (from its manufacturer) or it just uses some generic Windows drivers? Maybe you could start from there, before you disassemble the mouse ;)

It is a generic windows driver. No installation software came with the mouse.
Gotten another one for now so should I pull this apart and cannot put it back together again, I would not be mouseless

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
