advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Can you recommend an additional processor to add to a 64 bit laptop to increase the rendering speed?  I was looking at comp USA, not sure how much I should get

How can you add one more processor on your laptop?
I sure would like to know how to work this miracle too.

I dont think you can add a 2nd processor to a laptop...

You can buy a new laptop with a quad core processor or if you have a 2nd pc lying around you can try using the render farm.

This kind of thing varies from impossible to very difficult for a regular person to do.  The manufacturer of your laptop (or a very good laptop repair shop) should be able to tell you if a processor upgrade is possible-- but it's unlikely.  I'd consider a fast desktop for rendering purposes.  Laptops with a lot of horsepower tend to overheat anyway when faced with long renderings.

The answer to your question is that nXt is very processor dependent-- the fastest one with the most cores will generally produce the best results.

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
