advanced rendering for AutoCAD
Strange shadow
Hi guys, I am trying to figure out what cause the strange shadow in this image .The texture is a flat solid colour, the object is a solid. Any thoughts?

Try setting the object properties to Faceted.

Hi Peter I am trying with faceted and I have the same result. I will check the model one more time.

Does the next section along have the same problem?
If not, then try copying it.

The problem is that every section is diferent, each z point has a diferent height.Maybe I can draw a 3d face in the ucs and move 5 mm or so.

Peter, I think I make a big error when I model the ceiling, I will try to model it again, and see what happen.

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this.
