Using the Aloha.dwg as a test scence can you scenerio but with HDRi nd just plain sky/sun and vary combination with results and the actual model added to the tutorial section as a template for us newbies to take up from.

Also down to earth (no high level technical terms) tutorials on HDRi's would be appreciated, how to scale, orientation, know high quality ones, the right multiplier to use in terms of intensity, type etc  This is for Roy, anyone who can help.

Can you set up this scene with the aloha drawing attached to a tread in this post or get post this scene. This is for Peter as to the rendering he did with the *.hdr from hdri-location.com

Good discussion am just watching, yu guys are genius. pls akin that yur model where yu are going how did yu achieve that grass? is it groundcover?
Akin, did you do your hedges with groundcover tool?

This is not mine but what am trying to achieve with nxt.

To me, this is quite a poor rendering, not something to aspire to.

Going back to your own render; have you tried lowering the sun angle and increasing the cloudiness?

ok but from experience how can i achieve this grass(directly in front of the car) in modelling,
Akin, I think the sun is too high. Don't you never use manual settings?

So enquiries should be in reference to this.

I alway use manaul settings. Sun always high to reduce shadows and increase maxmium amount of light receieved by the scene.

Always welcome to new ideas. Use the attached drawing to set up.

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
