AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I want to make this material of the lampshade transparent and have control over the blurriness of the things shining through, in this case the lightbulb. I was convinced there was a slider that controls the amount of blurriness but i just can't find it. I used the translucensy slider but i don't think that's the way to go. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Best guess:

Transparency .7 (really guessing here

Translucency  0.0

Check the box for blurry transparency.

Blurriness 0.8

Something like that.

and now, like a five year old, i'll have to ask, where can i find the blurry reflection checkbox?

Ah not your fault -- I just looked-- I actually called it "Allow Surface Roughness" and the Blurriness setting is called Roughness.

ahh.. that explains. Thanks Roy
