advanced rendering for AutoCAD
Does the render farm work with render engine 4?

Probably not the version that's out there. I'll update it for you (give me a day or two.)
Okay, thanks.
I'll stick with path tracer for now.
The render farm is allowing me to add another 4 hyperthreaded cores running at 3.3GHz to my existing 12 running at 3.0GHz (32 threads in total).
When I suspend a machine, I presume it finishes its current task before stopping. I also presume the same goes for suspending a job.
The question is, how do I stop a farm render?
Even when I close the farmers, AutoCAD and Accurender down, the farm machines continue to process.
Also, is it only possible to remove a job when it is completed?
It should shut down at some point-- it may take a while if the machine is engaged in a lengthy task. If you absolutely need to shut the thing down right away, and closing the tray Icon doesn't do it, you may need to use Task Manager on each machine. Use the Process Tab to end the offending process. The farmers will have to be restarted, of course. Shutting down AutoCAD and AccuRender is irrelevant. (These can always be shut after the farm job has started.)
On most systems, you can't remove the last job. This is a known problem that I've never been able to get a handle on-- something is maintaining a lock on the folder but I don't know why. You should be able to remove any other inactive jobs-- including ones that haven't completed.
Yes, Task Manager was the only thing that worked.
I managed to remove the last job only after all the farmers had been closed down.
