Cylindrical decals
One of my coleagues is trying to map a decal to a cylindrical object.
She is using AutoCAD 2010 and the latest build of nXt.
She goes through all the correct procedures and can see the mapping guides as she progresses, but at the end there is no decal attached.
I'm using AutoCAD 2011 and everything works fine.
Is there a known issue with 2010?

Not that I'm aware of, no. The code for 2010 and 2011 is identical. Have her try making the decal larger (in radius) than the object cylinder. Occasionally meshing differences exist between the platforms.

I got her to send me the drawing and there were 7 decals attached to the object. In other words, it was working but not showing up in her nXt object properties box.
I subsequently deleted the decals and re-attached one, then sent the drawing back to her where it now shows up.
She has now tried again to map a cylindrical decal and it works.
Wierd!

Roy/ All,Currently use AR5 with AutoCad Architecture 2017. Have, and typically use ACAD 2022, but AR5 doesn't load, so I revert back to 2017 when it's time to use AR5).Long time user...had to create new profile due to Architecture firm closing (boss retired). nXt + AutoCAD 2025
