AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi, Roy,

I think that we need a "logo" for the identity of nXt, and a specific icone to put in acad. Can you provide it to us, or start a little "competition" to find it. The winner could get 2 centuries without desease, a travel to seattle to shake your hand, or ... his head in our hall of fame!

I'm not sure I've got time for an official competition-- but if anyone would like to submit some ideas we can take a look at it. You'd be immortalized in the product.

We defnitely need logos both for a platform independent nXt and for AccuRender nXt (the AutoCAD version.)
I don't think about me, but I'm sure that some nXt users are the men of the situation. Nevertheless, I will try to do something... to be immortalized.
Might be good to know some more about the product. for example, what is the official name? nXt or Ar5?
It's still up in the air. So far "AccuRender nXt". The platform independent piece is "nXt"

Hi Roy,
Is there any, more specific, timeline for platform independent nXt? Will it include software for other OS like Linux or for other CAD packages only?

Well don't talk to much, let's get started. Here is the first attempt. Am i immortal now? ;-)

I like it-- kind of like an XBox game.
I like this flash... and so we could have nXt alone, and nXt + Accurender. But I'm not a "green" addict, maybe in blue? Immortality is very close...
Maybe something like this?
But hey, this is supposed to be a teaser, i want to see more and better.

Yes, blue is better, for me, and italic give moving effect, nice, the path of the light tracer, right in our eyes. If it can help, I've made a study in 3D, but only to give some idea, nothing serious...

Fun. It's a holiday here-- I'll run these by Bob and Scott tomorrow...
Did these 2 this morning before I realized I missed the brand name Accurender.

OBJ Plant Issue - Diffuse Maps

Hi to anyone;maybe a similar issue as Mr.Holz announced recently, (PBR Texture question):-added a obj. plant via 'Textured Mesh Objects' widget-reassigned maps (materials showed up, but with no maps attached, (although mtl. files are  in the same folder as corresponding maps and obj files)-tried to render (see 'result')So my question is: Does anybody knew about how to handle Diffuse Maps in nXt, i suspect there is no interpretation of the UV-Coordinates?Any hints and help kindly appreciated!…See More

"nXtRender doesn't use the AO texture image settings for anything, so don't bother trying to use that. I would start use the Diffuse textures at 100% and experiment with the levels of the Specular Reflection. You might need to toggle the…"
