AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi to all.

I migrate from Accurender 3 to Accurender nXt vers. 1.0.321 but i have some problem.

Within (Autocad (2014), I get only the menu for rendering, the materials and the lights but do not know where the command "select perspective" is.

Someone can help me?

Thank in advance

I had already seen these links, thank you.
But my problem is how to set the view in accuender.
In the old AccuRender was the command "select perspective" and do not find it here in the new :-(

Thank you anyway

Views are no longer done in Accurender/Nxt but in AutoCad and imported into Nxt.

  • Type "Camera" in AutoCad command prompt
  • Click(when prompt) the position of the camera
  • Click again the position/direction of the target (all these is best done in top/plan view)
  • Right click on the camera and choose properties to adjust the heights (in the z plane) and camera focal length/distance (all the while viewing in the view window)
  • in Nxt UI click walkabout (the feet icon) and select the camera from the view drop down.

Thank you very much.
I know the command "Camera" in autocad but I was hoping that there was the old command (select perspective) in nXt.
It was much more comfortable in my opinion.
thanks again
Luca

I am trying to manipulate the perspective view in Accurender, but am not able to zoom in or out in walkabout or flyover.  I have done this very well with my old versions of Accurender.  How do I manipulate the view to get the scene that I want?

If you mean in WalkAbout-- use the mouse or the arrow keys on your keyboard to manipulate the view.

I have tried that, but cannot zoom in or out. It I'd like hitting a wall that the view will not pass.

Jan, I'm able to zoom in and out just using my mouse wheel, or the up and down arrows.

It's a bit sluggish, I have to wait a bit before I see the change.

Can you not zoom at all, or does it hit a limit as you described?

Maybe your model is very far from the origin. Make sure your object is close to the 0,0 point.
