AutoCAD crash

If I start a new drawing in AutoCAD 2018, load nXt and then press the Walkabout button, AutoCAD crashes instantly.

However, this doesn't happen if I start with a template, or open an old drawing originally created in AutoCAD 2011.

I've narrowed the problem down.

It has nothing to do with AutoCAD 2011. The problem is the initial plan view when starting a blank new drawing.

If I rotate the AutoCAD view before pressing the Walkabout button, then everything works fine.

After that there is no problem reverting back to plan view.

I can duplicate this.

I can also duplicate it in AutoCAD 2015, 2016 and 2017.

I'll see if I there is a way to we can detect and fix this.
