AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

This is the second time this has happened.  I will be working on a model then when I type NXT I get this AutoCad crash "FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at de241c2h". I have tried purging and running audit but to no avail. If I try opening the drawing with an NXT running the drawing will crash prior to opening.  I am attaching the drawing

Thank you!

Somehow the material called AccuRender-Glass got hosed.  It's unassigned, so you can easily purge it.  (The material called AccuRender-Glass-01 is fine.)  Purge it before you load nXt-- then load nXt.  You should be good to go.  If you can't figure it out I can send you a corrected version of your drawing.  Let me know.

This sort of thing normally occurs when you switch file versions without nXt loaded.  There may be some other ways to make it happen-- such as loading a version of a block with nXt data when nXt is not present.

That worked... thank you!!!

Quick Question.... if the material had been assigned to an object. How would know what one it is?

Select object -> look in the Properties panel (Ctrl+1), there is a material assignment line somewhere.

"Good start. Glass windows need some reflections , they look too plastic and dull. What are those white lines under the building? Parking lot for skateboards? ;) Shrub fence on the right needs revision."

Questions on problems encountered with accurender studio

1.Have you released a version that can accept jpeg ?2.Is the speed of the last version you created, higher thanthat of the first version ?3.Why cant we easily update to the latest version ?4.Why cant we use the background function to place things behind the windows for interior rendering ?5.I must really commend you because this software has a futureand if improved upon, can become the best rendering software inthe industry. I currently use vray for my production and willlike accurender studio…See More
