AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Working on a close relative of sub-surface scattering.  Looks like someone burnt dinner, but it's kind of interesting.

Or some one leave the windows open, look nice...

Definitely potential there.

Make sure you diconnect the smoke alarms.

I really like the way it treats the rays of sunlight through the window.

The foggy/smokey atmosphere, not so much.

I think that you can't take it without fog...
GREAT!, I believed that I will never see that tool in nXt... Thx
Perhaps not enough beam and to much fog?... Or for this beam density, is there too much fog? But I take it like it is...
It's just modeling the interaction of light with a participating medium.  The "beam" isn't an object that's being rendered, it's a natural consequence of the algorithm.
More smoke filled room?
I think you're close. Just adding some contrast already makes a difference.
Can't Wait!
It looks great . It will be a very nice tool. What about impact in rendering time?
Not too bad, so far.

"Do you ever hide stuff in your scenes? I used to have my dog Joey in EVERY render. Sometimes an icon on a monitor or in a window reflection, or book cover."

"Thanks George. I've had to produce quite a lot of lifestyle images in a short space of time. It's challenging coming up with so many different settings and layouts."
