AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi all!

I've updated to the last 255 version and tried to change materials to some objects in a model: applying material by layer doesn't work, only by object works. The fact is that I have hundreds of that object! How could I solve the problem? Thanks in advance!

First, try to select all objects and press "Remove Material from Object" button in Materials pane of nXt. Render small test render to see, if previous material disappears. If yes, try to assign material to layer by dragging it into layer line in Materials pane of nXt.

Thanks,

I've tried the following steps:

- remove the material from the layer by "Remove material from layer" button in Materials pane (I don't have the "remove material from object" option.... mayebe a bug?????): nothing happens!

- re-assing material by layer: nothing happens!

- remove material from all abjects by the material pane in ACAD and assigning a global material: nothing happens!

- assign material by the material pane in ACAD: it works!

so... what's wrong with "classic" nXt material assignment methods??

You will need to use the "Remove Material from Object" button.  A longer explanation is here.  The button is located here:

Was I blind??!!! Thanks Roy.... sometimes the simplest is the thing the more difficult we make it!

And read posts carefully... :)

"For compatibility with AutoCAD 2026 you would need to purchase a license upgrade for nXtRender (AccuRender).  As an AR5 license holder you are eligible for a discount which we can give to you if you contact us at support@renderplus.com."

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
