AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Hi everybody!

I'm working on a very simple model and I'm experiencing something strange: renders are different if I freeze the layer of the walls.

Any explication?

Thanks

Accurender has an auto exposure. So with the bright yellow walls it is "stopping down" thus making the roof look darker.

Just use the brightness control to bring the level back up.

Thanks Peter, I'll work on post processing images.

Don't think of the brightness and burn controls as post processing. You can adjust them while the rendering is running. Their effect is very different from using brightness and contrast in Photoshop.

Also if you save the rendering as an nXt image you can adjust them in the image editor.

It may be worth re-labelling Brightness as Exposure to make things clearer.

With post processing I mean working with the image editor. Indeed, I will necessary use PS for mounting the render on photo.

Use PS for composting into a photo. then print and mount on the wall.

sorry couldn't resist.

I second to that... imho this applies generally - at some point it would be worthwhile to tweak the UI a bit...
