AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Good Morning,

Has anyone found a web site that offers trees, shrubs & ground cover that works well with nXt?

Without a whole lot of work, of course.  THe nXt Plant Manager is very nice, but limited (for me) to create specific species.  Thanks for any info.

I'll take a look at accustudio's uploading system and try to forward some files there.
Oops, there is a 3MB file size limit there Ros.

Ros, try this link.

(Dal jsem to na úschovnu).

It seems that all of them xfrogs that are in 3ds format do work.

I did try to reduce the file size usng Deep Exploration - please, find attached version of bluespruce_3ds, reduced from original 21.000 faces to 8.400 faces, saved as 3ds in DE, then inserted into dwg via nXt widget.

As you can see from attached images, there IS a difference in quality, but the speed gain is substantial too - in DE, it is possible to choose the proper compromise for your actual needs.

Surprisingly, reduced file (original dwg=3,4MB, reduced one 1,8MB) tooks longer to render...

5 passes, similar view:

Original: 21000faces, 5:30, 4040p/s

40%reduced: 8400faces, 6:04, 3640p/s

You will have to re upload in a *.zip for us to see as I already interested.

ZIP uploaded... btw: why ning cannot handle .rar? why ning is not compatible with latest IE yet?

Ask ning.
Not only takes longer to render, but also it does not reminds me a bluespruce tree anymore :)
well, from some way away it would...

Well, with some dose of abstraction yes :D (just joking)

These I haven't tried...

Questions for nxt render for autocad

Good day everyone,Can anyone here help me with these issues i keep having with nxt render for autocad ?1. How do you bring in textured models into autocad ( 3ds and obj) without losing their textures or having to re-assign them.2. How do you move these objects from place to place without experiencing viewport refresh sluggishness in the autocad viewport ?3. How do you add dirt to fabric textures for rendering.4. How do you avoid repeat patterns in textures for rendering ?See More
