Refraction

The refraction in the polar glass balcony rail seems a bit extreme to me.

Glass is solid 10mm thick.

Glass material is set to IOR = 1.3, Fresnel = 1.0

Looks wrong to me too-- probably need a model here too.

why did you set fresnel to 1? It seems too much to me...

It seems to be the default when you create a new glass material.

To be honest, I'm not sure what the transparency fresnel setting actually does (I do understand the reflection fresnel).
