Excelente link. Muchas gracias, Akin. Saludos
THANK YOU ALWAYS FOR YOUR SEARCH.

So, help me a bit here.

On the Free Xfrog trees, it looks like the downloadable file formats are:

Maya, Max, obj, lwo, c4d, 3ds, Terragen 2, and Vue.

If all I have is AutoCAD 2011 and Accurender 5 nXt - which should I download?

Should it be the 3ds and then use 3DSIN command to import the model into AutoCAD? -or-

I think I saw someone mention they were using obj content in their renders, how is that done?

Thanks for any help.

There's a textured mesh object import in the nXt widgets section.  It needs a little work, it's a little hit or miss whether it will work or not for a particular file, but some folks have been having some success with it.  I'm sure some others will chime in here.
I typically use the 3ds file unless theses an issue then I try the obj. The main problem you'll run across is where the maps are stored. The maps (texture, opacity, etc) needs to be in the same root folder as the object, but some have sub-directories with the maps and nXt wont see those.
I started to mess with textured models in fact trying to have some nice plants and trees alongside with the nXt ones. I found the problem mentioned by Kevin to happen very often. Maps of leaves and bark sometimes appear, some other they don't. What I did finally was quite simple. I'd converted the textured mesh to autocad mesh (option found in Textured Mesh Object submenu in nXt), corrected the path of materials in nXt material editor by embedding the textures into drawing file, moved the object to desired position (absolute origin) and finally saved it as DWG file for direct insert as block. Sound complicated, but in fact it's not :)
