AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

Here's a first attempt at using Fog in an interior rendering.

1200 x 1200

2000 passes

40 hours

Fog scattering = 0.01

The window was modelled as a region with a semi-transparent decal applied and tagged as Thin.

Looks awesome Peter. Still grainy, but I like the grainy "photographer's" look. Nice stonewall texture - from Arroway?

I can't remember where I got the stone material.

It's one that was shared around here years ago.

Very interesting results. You said 40 hours to render,....how many cores in your PC Peter?
8 cores running at 2.66GHz
Nice.  Post it to the gallery when you get a chance.  Also, I'd love to have this for testing purposes-- I'm about to take another pass at the SSS/Fog stuff in a day or so.
I'm afraid I'm having trouble uploading the file.
It made it across-- thanks.
Crazy render time, indeed. :-(
Nice effect, I like how the colour filters also apply to the particles!

"Thanks for your kind words. Yes, all plants are generated with nxt plant-editor. I have used leaves from Marc Chaumier's plant library. (Download/ Content + Entourage)"
