AccuRender nXt

advanced rendering for AutoCAD

I have a finning situation. On the left of the smaller window. Notice the light ray on the wall and it abrupt stop, while on the right it is not like that but as I believe it should be.

No idea what you're talking about.

I think reflections on the walls are OK. the left windows is apparently smaller than the right one, so its reflection looks right to me. If you leave NXT to make more passes i think it will clear the situation, especially as regards the very bright strip of light going from the left window towards the bathtub. I would tried path rather than packet tracer here. The model is great so the finishing rendering should be too :)

Will try path tracer.

It's the angle of the sun coming through the windows. The sun is slightly to the right so it shines on the left wall.

The sun coming through the right hand windows is shining on the side of the bath.

If you don't want this, turn cloudiness up to 1.0 or move the sun round 180 degrees.

What I do not get is the fact the bright ray on the left stops abruptly, I would have expect it to go all the way down over the bath tub to and not stop just before the faucet.

Here is the model with the materials so I can stay within the 5MB limit.

The rendering is correct. The light pattern on the wall is a distorted version of the shape of the window (in this case a distorted square). If the window was taller, the light pattern would be longer.
Thank you all for your contributions.
Nice rendering, BTW.
Thank you.
Is that a Bidet next to the WC? Thats a really small bidet then! :D
Will rescale the bidet. thanks.
It is result of geometry Akinlolu. Your sun is coming 121° from the south-east and 45° above the horizon. It is natural sun rays will hit the wall and not going parallel with it. The sunlight from right window is somewhere on the floor near the bathtub (it is visible on the rendering partly).

CAN WE GET PETER MILNER TO TRAIN SOME OF US FOR A TOKEN ?

Good day, forum members,I was thinking that we could each, if interested, contribute a significant token to give Peter Milner and David to train us virtually in nxt render for Autocad. Am not sure he still uses it but the experience he has spanning over 20 years cannot be underestimated. I wish the forum co-ordinators could look into this. So that more of us will produce realistic renders with the paid version of nxt render and we will be able to encourage other users of other more advanced…See More
